The Cast of Flinch: Legends and New Guns

Daniel Zovatto:

Daniel Zovatto, originally from Costa Rica, is known for his gritty, unrelenting roles. Prior to his leading-role in Flinch, we saw him on the big screen in hits such as It Follows (2014), Don’t Breathe (2016). He came into his own with a variety of TV spots on Agents of Shield, Revenge, and Fear The Walking Dead. In 2017, his career hit a whole new stride with a role in hit indie film Lady Bird (2017). His career continues a monumental trend upward and, coupled with his skill in the craft, will go far.

Tilda Cobham-Hervey:

Tilda Cobham-Hervey, originally from Australia, is known for a variety of roles. Prior to acting, Tilda was a lauded circus performer in Australia, winning numerous accolades for her work in physical theater. She saw big acting success early with a number of independent Australian films. This quickly expanded into big-budget roles in Hotel Mumbai (2018). Tilda saw a sharp increase in her profile with her splendid character portrayal of feminist icon Helen Reddy in I Am Women (2019). Of course her leading role in Flinch became another feather in her cap. Generally such acclaim at a young age only means good things in the future.

Tom Segura:

Tom Segura is best known for his work as a stand-up comedian. He started off his career doing stand-up and quickly grew to one of the most recognizable names in the field. Since 2010, Segura’s released two comedy albums and four hour-long specials for Netflix. He’s toured extensively all over the world. Segura has had several roles in comedy films throughout the years, including Instant Family (2018) and The Opening Act (2020). He first began to dip his toes in other genres in the 2019 film Countdown. With that trend continuing in Flinch, hopefully he continues to expand his horizon.

Cathy Moriarty:

Cathay Moriarty has received an abundance of accolades in her storied career. Her decades in the entertainment industry provides a filmography too in-depth to fully go over. Perhaps her best known role is her debut theatrical one in Raging Bull (1980). This performance earned Moriarty an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Her dozens of critically acclaimed films continue to add up, with Flinch being her most recent.

Buddy Duress:

Buddy Duress is a powerful and polarizing figure. He’s an actor partially by luck and circumstance, starring in Heaven Knows What (2014). At the time, Duress was homeless and fell into the role by chance. It became quickly clear that Duress was a star and he saw roles in Good Time (2017), Person to Person (2017), and PVT Chat (2020). The only thing holding back Buddy Duress are his personal demons.

David Proval:

David Proval has seen his share of the entertainment industry. He’s appeared in the films of living legends, knocking on the door of that status himself, with roles in Martin Scorsese’s Mean Streets (1973) and The Shawshank Redemption (1994). These are only a few notable roles out of the dozens upon dozens of movies and TV series he’s appeared in. Proval’s best known work since the turn of the century was likely his tenure on The Sopranos (1999-2007). His experience working on such a variety of films ensures he always turns in a great performance.

Steven Bauer:

Steven Bauer, born in Cuba, has an expansive catalog, appearing in well-over a hundred combined movies and television shows. Perhaps his most known role was on the crime drama Scarface (1983). He also had roles in the hit television series Breaking Bad (2008-2013) and its spinoff Better Call Saul (2015-Present). Bauer’s experience shows a favorability for gripping crime films and television series. Watch Flinch today to see one of his more recent roles.
